Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a wire drum excellent in the toughness and the dimensional precision as an integral cast product without machining, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The non-machining type spheroidal graphite cast iron-made integral cast product is obtd. by embedding a sand mold in molding sand 4 filled in a top opening type reduced pressure vessel 2 and pouring the cast iron treated with spheroidizing graphite agent and inoculant in this casting cavity in the sand mold under the suction reduced pressure condition and solidifying.
