Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new cosmetic composition for the first stage of an operation for the permanent reshaping of keratinous material, in particular the hair, capable of restricting or preventing mechanical deterioration of hair after repeating perming treatment, not emitting odor and hardly having irritation to the skin and/or scalp.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition is used for a first stage of an operation for the permanent reshaping of keratinous material such as hair comprising reducing disulfide bond of keratin. The cosmetic composition comprises at least one active agent suitable for reducing disulfide bond of keratin, at least one basifying agent selected from ornithine, lysine and arginine and at least one cation polymer containing primary, secondary or tertiary amine group or quaternary ammonium group in the main chain.
