Abstract:
To solve problems such as clogging or semi-melt at an iron spout resulting from chill of molten iron or slag discharged from the iron spout of a blast furnace or a melting furnace of a blast furnace type.
On a bottom of the blast furnace or the melting furnace of the blast furnace type, induction coils are wound for heating the bottom. Low-frequency and high-frequency induction melting increase temperatures of cokes and melt on the bottom utilizing the cokes on the bottom. Flowing states of the molten iron and the slag on the bottom are controlled by output adjustment of the induction coils.
