Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the precise correction of the balance of a rotary support shaft by fixing a hollow balance ring with an eccentric center of gravity to the center of the inner diameter on the rotary support shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotary support shaft 2 fixed on a rotary body 1 is supported by a bearing 3, and equipped with a balance ring 4 whose center of inner diameter is eccentric to that of the outer diameter. Since the center of gravity of this balance ring 4 is eccentric to the center of the rotary soupport shaft, an unbalanced power is generated by a centrifugal force to take a balance against a shaft vibration. In this fixing method, the change of the eccentricity and the length can provide the optional selection not only for the phase but for the amount of correction.
