Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate achievement of high reduction ratio, by fabricating a reduction apparatus in such that the rotary motion of an electric motor is converted into swinging motion by an eccentric cam and transmitted to a driving lever. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric cam 2 is secured to the end of a rotor shaft 1a of an electric motor, the rotary motion of which is converted into swinging motion by the cam 2. The eccentric cam 2 is fixed in the U-shaped groove of a driving lever 3, and the swing of the eccentric cam 2 is transmitted to a driving lever 5. A rotary bearing having a step advancing motion structure is provided at the end of the driving lever 3, which serves to convert the swinging motion of the driving lever 3 into intermittent rotary motion in the given direction. The converted motion is in this way transmitted to the output shaft 5 fixed on the rotary bearing 4. The output shaft 5 is supported by bearing 6a, 6b, and, for example, connected to the power accumulating mechanism of intercepting spring of a intercepter, etc.
