Abstract:
To provide a reduction-casting method with which the casting is performed under good state without impairing the reducing force.
In the reduction-casting method with which a reducible compound generated by reacting metallic gas and reactive gas is introduced into a cavity 12 in a forming mold 11 and a cast product is cast by reducing an oxide film on a molten metal surface with this reducible compound, when the metallic gas is introduced into the cavity 11, in the case of using non-reactive gas as carrier gas, the flow-rate of the non-reactive gas is controlled to 2-1/6 times of the flow-rate of the reactive gas.
