Abstract:
To provide a reduction device of actinide oxide obtaining high reduction ratio of actinide oxide to actinide metal.
A reduction device of actinide oxide comprises a holding vessel 5 containing molten salt 2, a recovery vessel 6 placed inside this holding vessel 5, dipped in the molten salt 2 and capable of circulating the molten salt 2, and loaded with actinide oxide 3 and reduction agent 4 reducing this, a stirrer 7 for dispersing the actinide oxide 3 and the reduction agent 4 into the molten salt 2 in the recovery vessel 6. The recovery vessel 6 has a separation means for separating the molten salt 2 and reduction products after reduction reaction termination.
