To provide a reduction gear capable of restricting an increase of the manufacturing cost, capable of automatically correcting the parallel degree of a rotary shaft between members for transmitting drive with friction, and capable of transmitting the speed reducing drive to an image carrier, more accurately restricting the fluctuation of the rotating speed, and to provide an image carrier driving device and an image forming device.
This reduction gear includes a push regulating means 88, which has a regulating member 87a for regulating deviation of a driving shaft 86 in the rotating direction of a drive transmitting member 85 and which pushes the driving shaft 86 toward the center of rotation of the drive transmitting member 85. Drive is transmitted to the driving shaft 86 from a drive source 81 through a coupling 110. The push regulating means 88 is structured to swing in a direction for restricting force of the driving shaft 86 in the rotary shaft direction in response to the force of the driving shaft 86 in the rotary shaft direction.
