Abstract:
To provide reduction gears of a shaft assembly for a washing machine having large reduction ratio between an input shaft and an output shaft.
The reduction gear device 50 includes an input gear 55 installed on an input shaft 24 of a shaft assembly, a first gear 51a which meshes with the gear 55 and has a diameter larger than that of the gear 55, a second gear 51b which is made integral to the gear 51a and has a diameter smaller than that of the gear 51a, and an output gear 56, which is installed on an output shaft 29, meshes with the gear 51b and has a diameter larger than that of the gear 51b.
