Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear capable of preventing a shaft-shaped member and a ring-shaped gear from relatively rotating and accurately positioning the shaft-shaped member and the ring-shaped gear in the axial direction.SOLUTION: A reduction gear 2 comprises a shaft-shaped member 3 having a gear part 5, and a ring-shaped gear 4 mounted to the shaft-shaped member 3 at a position avoiding the gear part 5. On the outer peripheral surface of the shaft-shaped member 3 at the position avoiding the gear part 5, plural first tooth parts 20 are provided in the circumferential direction of the shaft-shaped member 3. The first tooth parts 20 have lower level teeth 21 and upper level teeth 22 that are arranged to adjoin the lower level teeth 21 in the axial direction of the shaft-shaped member 3. On the inner peripheral surface of the ring-shaped gear 4, plural second tooth parts 24 for spline-fitting to the plural first tooth parts 20 are provided in the circumferential direction of the ring-shaped gear 4, and the second tooth parts 24 abut against stepped faces 23 that define the lower level teeth 21 and the upper level teeth 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
