Title:
REDUCTION OF LOW-ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVE LIQUID WASTE DURING REGENERATION OF ION-EXCHANGE RESIN AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5919549
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive to recover and reuse low-electric conductive liquid waste, while saving a necessary amount of water to be used, by reserving and using the low-electric conductive liquid waste in the step of washing ion-exchange resin for its regeneration.

CONSTITUTION: The liquid waste of sluicing water 8 is sent through piping 10 to a liquid waste tank 2 and partially drained off. Since the low-electric conductive liquid waste reserved therein has the approximately same properties as those of water to be used for backwashing/regeneration, it is divided through piping 11 into two parts, individually introduced into the lower and upper sites of a cation-exchange resin tank 3 and used for the regeneration of resin. It is introduced into an anion-exchange resin tank 4 and used therein by the same way, too. Thus, the drainage of the low-electric conductive liquid waste is reduced, in its amount.
