Abstract:

To efficiently regenerate lead alloy slag formed in a lead battery manufacturing process.

In the case of lead alloy slag 3 formed from a lead alloy containing Sb and practically free from Ca, the inside of an electric furnace 1 (inside of a furnace core tube 4) is regulated to reducing atmosphere and ≥700°C and maintained for one hour. In the case of lead alloy slag 3 formed from a Ca-containing lead alloy, the inside of an electric furnace 1 (inside of a furnace core tube 4) is maintained for one hour in a reducing atmosphere at ≥950°C and also a reduction accelerator is allowed to exist.
