Abstract:
To provide a reed that may not interference with an insulating housing when assembled or deformed.SOLUTION: A reed 200 includes a terminal portion 210, a hinged portion 220, a contact pad portion 230 and an un-thinned portion 240. The hinged portion 220 is disposed between the terminal portion 210 and the un-thinned portion 240. The terminal portion 210 is depicted having a first thickness 212. Each of the hinged portion 220, the contact pad portion 230 and the un-thinned portion 240 is also depicted having various thicknesses. More specifically, the hinged portion 220 has a second thickness 222, the contact pad portion 230 has a third thickness 232, and the un-thinned portion 240 has a fourth thickness 242. The first and fourth thicknesses 212 and 242 may equal each other or be within some margin of error to each, and as such, be substantially equal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
