Title:
REEL DRIVE UNIT FOR TAPE RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5616953
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the wow-flatter characteristics of the reel turntable, by setting the specified constant so that the resonant frequency of the cassette tape and the cogging frequency of the reel turntable can not be the same.

CONSTITUTION: The reel turntable drive motor 10 consists of the cored small sized commutator motor having the slot 13b. Taking the number of revolutions of the reel turntable 9 as NB, the reduction ratio of the motor 10 as α, and the number of poles as K, the cogging frequency FC generated at the reel turntable 9, is expressed as FC=NB.α.2K/60. Further, the cassette tape has various oscillation forms during running and the resonant point is present at 12W14Hz for the resonant frequency FT. By setting each constant so that FC≠FT, the wow-flatter characteristics can be increased even with the motor having cogging.
