Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a power source from deforming or damaging with external force, improve trouble in electric supply functions and further prevent the elec tric supply from failing by installing a site where the power source is provided in a place without protruding or exposing from the external shape of a reel.
CONSTITUTION: This reel for fishing is obtained by fixing a cylindrical part 4 for housing a power source in a through-hole 1h of a cylindrical part 1e of a side frame 1a, inserting the cylindrical part 4 for housing the power source into a cavity part 3f at the center of a fishing line winding drum part 3c of a spool 3, housing power source batteries or cells 24 for operating electrical machinery and apparatuses in the interior of a cavity part 4b in the cylindrical part 4 for housing the power source and supplying the electricity from the power source batteries or cells 24 to a device for measuring the line length. A thick-wall part 2a is formed in the reel side plate 2 and a screw hole 2b is formed in the thick-wall part 2a. A screw plug 25 is screwed into the screw hole 2b. A spring inserted into the hole at the tip of the screw plug 25 is pressed to the power source batteries or cells 24.
