Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an effect of announcement of various kinds of information.
SOLUTION: A defined symbol is prepared by providing a two-layer printed pattern consisting of a first and a second printed layers 37 and 38, respectively, which are overlapped along the direction of thickness on back of a belt sheet 30 forming periphery of a reel. The back of the first printed layer 37 coming into contact with the back of the belt sheet 30 contains dark color pigment 39 and clearing agent particles 40. The second printed layer 38 is formed to a semi-transparent layer, which possesses color hue different from the first printed layer 37 and contains pigment particles 41 of high lightness. This symbol is usually displayed by hue of low lightness due to dark color pigment of the first printed layer 37. When illuminated on the back from interior of the reel, the colored light emitted from the second printed layer penetrates to the outside of the reel via the first printed layer, thus altering the color and lightness of the symbol of the display.
