Abstract:
To provide a reel free from any deviation in the thickness of a wound metal wire body in the entire outer circumferential surface of a winding drum.
The reel 1 for winding a metal wire body includes a cylindrical winding drum 2, and a pair of flanges 3 to be attached to both ends of the winding drum 2. An insertion projection 22 to be inserted in an insertion hole 32 of the flange 3 is formed on each end of the winding drum 2. The insertion hole 32 in which the insertion projection 22 of the winding drum 2 is inserted is formed in the flange 3. The insertion hole 32 of the flange 3 and the insertion projection 22 of the winding drum 2 inserted in the insertion hole 32 are welded from the outer side.
