Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve water resistance without adversely affecting the reemulsifiability of a reemulsifiable synthetic resin emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The objective reemulsifiable synthetic resin emulsion powder is composed of 100 pts. wt. reemulsifiable synthetic resin emulsion powder prepared by spray-drying a vinylic synthetic resin aqueous emulsion containing a water-soluble polymeric compound having hydroxyl groups as a protective colloid and 0.5-100 pts. wt. one or two or more selected from oxides or hydroxides of potassium or magnesium.
