Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily make fine adjustment from the outside by providing a resistance for dropping voltage which offsets the temperature dependency of the base-emitter voltage of a bipolar transistor by controlling the collector current of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:Bipolar transistors Q1 and Q2 connected in series to the current output side of a current mirror circuit 7, the current source of which is constituted of MOSFETs 1 and 2 and an analog switch 5 which controls the collector currents flowing to the bipolar transistors by turning on/off a control terminal 6 from the outside are provided. In addition, a resistance 4 for dropping voltage which is connected to the emitter of one of the transistors Q1 and Q2 and the emitter of the bipolar transistor on an output voltage fetching side and offsets the temperature dependency of the base-emitter voltages of the bipolar transistors by controlling the collector currents is also provided. Therefore, fine adjustment required for matching characteristics between the bipolar transistors of a current mirror circuit can be made from the outside without making any trimming.
