Abstract:

To facilitate refill replacement work, while adopting a mechanism pressing a sheet-like connected staple in a refill body by a pressor lever.

A refill for a staple includes: a refill body 12 storing the stacked sheet-like connected staples 10; a cover member 15 stored in the refill body 12 to cover the sheet-like connected staples 10, and disposed to the refill body 12 to be movable in a stacked direction of the sheet-like connected staples 10; and guide holes 21 with which guide projection 22 formed to the cover member 15 are engaged. After penetrating the guide holes 21 and installed to the cartridge 61, the guide projections 22 are engaged with engagement parts 73 formed to the cartridge 61 so that removal of them from the cartridge 61 of the refill body 12 is restricted. When there are no sheet-like connected staples 10 in the refill body 12, an engagement state of the guide projections with the engagement part 73 is released.
