Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low consistency refiner capable of realizing reduced power consumption, higher fluidic efficiency, and improved gap stability by balancing a rotor in a case of a double disc refiner, in a mechanical refiner for refining a lignocellulose material.SOLUTION: A refiner plate segment 100 and a refiner plate in which dams are fully arranged or partially arranged on grooves (150, 180) of a main surface can control flow behaviors of a lignocellulose material passing through between the refining plates of the refiner. The groove on which a dam is arranged forms a groove segment, and each groove segment has a length of about 30 mm or shorter or a length within the partial range thereof.
