PURPOSE: To efficiently remove the volatile materials contained in resin aq. solution, by making a thin film of resin solution on both surfaces of each rotating plate and ventilating the air around these rotating plates.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating shaft 2 is rotatably provided across a resin solution tank 1. A plurality of rotating plates 3 is fixed on the rotating shaft 2, keeping a certain distance between neighbouring plates, and a part of each plate is dipped in the solution. The solution tank 1 and the circular plates 3 are enclosed by a cover 5 and the passage of gas 6 is isolated from outside atmosphere. Air inlets 7 and gas outlets 8 are properly prepared on the cover 5. A thin film of resin is formed on both sides of each rotating plate 3, while these plates on the shaft 2 are rotated by a motor through a belt 4. The revolution number is properly controlled in accordance with the viscosity of resin solution and the volatile materials are removed by ventilating the gas inside of the apparatus. It is desirable that the air used for ventilation is properly humidified and/or heated up in advance for promoting a removal efficiency of volatile materials.
