Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reflecting mirror to satisfy necessary heat resistance and mechanical strength while using a glass composition other than that of crystallized glass.
SOLUTION: A thin multilayer reflecting film is vapor-deposited on the surface of a glass substrate having a glass composition containing, by weight, 53-64% SiO2, 0-5% Na2O+K2O, 0-8% B2O3, 10-23% Al2O3, 0-8% TiO2+ZrO2, 4-15% ZnO, 0-18% MgO+CaO+BaO+SrO and ≤3% one or more components selected from P2O5, As2O3, Sb2O3, PbO and Ta2O5 to obtain the objective reflecting mirror.
