Abstract:
To make a light display by improving the diffraction efficiency at reproduction time almost to ≥90% and widening the half-value width to at least ≥20nm.
Reflection type holograms 11', 12', and 13' meet a requirement of (-cosθd/cosθi)1/2/sin2(θd/2-θi/2)≥mn/(n1λ) (m≥20), where θi is the angle of incidence at reproduction time, θd the angle of diffraction, (n) the mean refractive index of the holograms, n1 the amplitude of spatial modulation of the refractive index, and λ the diffraction wavelength in air.
