Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming apparatus which can generate hydrogen in a short time after starting thereof.SOLUTION: A reforming apparatus 1 includes a plasma generator 12 which generates plasma in a catalyst part by decomposing a hydrogen-containing compound by catalytic reaction of a catalyst, and a control device 16 which controls starting of the plasma generator 12. When temperature of the catalyst is lower than a catalytic reaction temperature for decomposing the hydrogen-containing compound at the time of starting the reforming apparatus 1, the control device 16 starts the plasma generator 12.
