PURPOSE: To prevent a liner from being worn out in an early stage, and to improve a drawing-out speed by bringing an axle box and a housing to a surface contact at a work position of shearing, etc. of a material, and executing it through a wheel when drawing it out.
CONSTITUTION: When replacing knife drums (KD)3, 3, a drawing car (DC) is made to run on a drawing out rail 7 and claws 12, 11 are engaged, and when the DC9 is made to run to an opposite shear 1 side, the KDs 3, 3 are drawn out together with axle boxes 4W, 4D, and changed onto the rail 7. In this case, the axle boxes 4W, 4D are in a surface contact state of liners 5W, 5D and liners 6, 6, but as they move, wheels 8W, 8D are changed successively onto a guide rail 10, and changed onto the rail 7 as the liners 5W, 5D are slid and drawn out of the liners 6, 6. According to this constitution, the liners 5W, 5D; 6, 6 are scarcely worn out, and also its movement caused by a slide motion is small, therefore, the whole drawing-out speed is also improved.
