Abstract:
To provide an improved refractory glass assembly.
A refractory glass assembly contains at least two pieces of glass plates 1, 2 jointed to each other by a spacer along the edge part and a hydrated intermediate phase 4, with which a space between the glasses 1 and 2 is filled, and the spacer 3 is made of a silicone rubber. Further beads 6 being a thermally activating foaming material are preferably arranged between the spacer 3 and an adhesive seal material 7 for sealing the peripheral part region.
