To provide a refrigerant amount estimation device capable of accurately and easily estimating a refrigerant amount to be filled in piping.
A refrigerant amount estimation device 100 includes: a total extension estimation part 112 for estimating the total extension of piping 102; a configuration information acquisition part 114 for acquiring configuration information including model information capable of specifying the type of devices of an outdoor unit 103 and an indoor unit 104 connected to respective ends of the piping 102; a device information storage part 111 for storing beforehand the device information 118 indicating the diameter of the piping to be connected for each type of the device, and a main control part 116. The main control part 116 includes: a piping diameter specifying part 146 for specifying the diameter of piping connected to the respective devices indicated by the model information 118 by referring to the device information 118; and a proper refrigerant amount calculation part 149 for calculating a refrigerant amount to be filled in the piping 102 on the basis of the total extension of the piping 102 estimated by the total extension estimation part 112, and the diameter of the piping 102 estimated by the piping diameter specifying part 146.
