A swash plate type compressor 10 constitutes a refrigeration circuit together with an external refrigerant circuit 40 and is configured to suck refrigerant gas flowing from the external refrigerant circuit 40 to the suction chamber 31 to a compression mechanism, compress the refrigerant gas and discharge it to the discharge chamber 32. The discharge chamber 32 is provided on the outer peripheral side of the suction chamber 31, and a high vacuum suction chamber thermal insulation part S1 is provided between the suction chamber 31 and the discharge chamber 32. A valve-port forming body 13 is interposed between the compression mechanism and the discharge and suction chambers 32, 31, and an end face of the valve-port forming body 13 facing the suction chamber 31 and the discharge chamber 32 is coated with a thermal insulating layer 13a.
