PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of a lubricant oil feeder in a transversely laid compressor of a sealed type for air-coolers and to raise lubricant efficiency by directly connecting a lubricant oil feed pipe of a bearing of a cylinder to a lubricant oil feeder in a lubricant oil sump.
CONSTITUTION: An opening portion 13b of a lubricant oil feed pipe 13 feeding a lubricant oil to a bearing 7b of a cylinder 7a is connected to an oil discharge port 12b. Since this lubricant oil pipe 13 is formed with a small hole 14, the lubricant oil 2 is sucked into a blade chamber 12 through a suction port 12a when the compressor is driven, and is pulsatingly transferred under pressure to the lubricant oil feed pipe 13 through the oil discharge port 12b. Therefore, the amount of the lubricant oil fed increases upon lubricant oil feeding, since the lubricant oil is also sucked through the small hole 14 into the lubricant oil feed pipe 13. While when the lubricant oil is sucked into the blade chamber 12, it is also sucked through the small hole, thereby to minimize the counterflow of the lubricant oil within the lubricant oil feed pipe 13.
