Abstract:
To provide a refrigerating device and a refrigerant amount determination method of the refrigerating device capable of accurately determining excess/deficiency of a refrigerant amount in the refrigerating device using a refrigerant acting in a supercritical region.SOLUTION: A refrigerating device 1 includes a heat source unit 10 using a refrigerant acting in a supercritical region. The heat source unit includes: a compression element 20 for compressing a refrigerant; a heat source heat exchanger 24; an expansion valve 26 disposed at a downstream side of the heat source heat exchanger; a receiver 25 disposed at a downstream side of the expansion valve; and a control portion 101. The control portion performs a first operation for determining a refrigerant amount on the basis of a high pressure in a first condition that an internal pressure of the receiver is a supercritical pressure or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
