To reduce the influence of the mass flow rate of refrigerant on the degree of dryness of a flow-out tube by providing a thin tube only at the branch of a flow-in tube and a flow-out tube at the time of branching a plurality of flow-out tube from one flow-in tube so that an atomized flow of refrigerant is produced easily at the branch.
A three-way distributor comprising one flow-in tube 1 and two flow-out tubes 2, 3 extending horizontally or inclining by some angle against horizon is coupled by forming thin tube parts 4, 5 at the branch of the flow-in and flow-out tubes. The thin tube parts 4, 5 function to accelerate gas-phase and liquid-phase and scatter the liquid-phase as fine liquid drops thus producing so-called atomized flow. When an atomized flow is produced at the branch, shift of the liquid-phase is suppressed in the tube and dryness of the flow-out tubes 2, 3 is insusceptible of the mass flow rate of refrigerant.
