To reduce the restriction in accuracy in dimension in designing and processing, in a refrigerant flow divider provided with a refrigerant whirling passage from a refrigerant distributing chamber to a refrigerant flow dividing port, and to improve the flow dividing performance.
In this refrigerant flow divider, a depth of a groove to the refrigerant flow dividing ports 2e, 2e direction at a refrigerant whirling passage 2d side is deeper than that of a groove to the same direction of whirling channels 2c, 2c to form the difference in stage therebetween, whereby the refrigerant R in a gas-liquid phase state introduced to the whirling passage 2d side from each whirling channel 2c, 2c is sufficiently whirled in the whirling passage 2d of deeper depth to be sufficiently mixed. The refrigerant is prevented from being supplied to the refrigerant flow dividing port from the whirling channels 2c, 2c as it is, and the impairing of the refrigerant distributing performance can be prevented without affected by dimension, shape and difference in stage in designing and processing of the whirling channels 2c, 2c.
