To provide a refrigerant heating apparatus with which post installation is easy and which is capable of improving heat recovering efficiency.
An option heater unit 10 for heating a refrigerant is equipped with a liquid pipe 12, a gas pipe 13, a heater 19, and a casing 11. The liquid pipe 12 is structured so that a liquid refrigerant flows therein. The gas pipe 13 is structured so that a gas refrigerant flows therein. The heater 19 heats the refrigerant flowing in the liquid pipe 12. The casing 11 accommodates the liquid pipe 12, the gas pipe 13, and the heater 19 so that both ends of each of the liquid pipe 12 and the gas pipe 13 communicates with the outside. Further, at least one part of the heater 19 is arranged in proximity to the gas pipe 13.
