Title:
REFRIGERANT RECOVERING AND FILLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04240365
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent refrigerant from being discharged into atmosphere by a method wherein the refrigerant is recovered from an already installed refrigerating cycle device while preventing the inflow of lubricating oil in the device by utilizing a pressure difference while the recovered refrigerant is returned into the device again while regulating the amount into a specified amount.

CONSTITUTION: A tank 1 is connected to the refrigerant supplying and discharging port 9 of an already installed refrigerating cycle device 8 through a detachable connecting unit 7 and a flow passage 5 while the tank 1 is evacuated by an evacuating pump 14 to recover the refrigerant in the device 8 into the tank 1 by utilizing a pressure difference. A flow rate changeable device 4 is interposed on the half way of the flow passage 5 and pressure detecting sensors 10a, 10b are provided at the upstream and downstream of the same device 4. The flow passage resistance of the flow rate variable device 4 is set so as to be large enough until the difference of outputs of respective sensors becomes a predetermined small pressure difference. The tank 1 is provided with an evaporating unit 19 in a refrigerating cycle 23 for liquefying the recovered refrigerant while the amount of liquefied refrigerant is regulated so as to be a specified amount by adding refrigerant in a refrigerant filling bomb 16, then, the refrigerant is filled into the refrigerating cycle device 8 again.
