To obtain a highly efficient refrigerating air conditioner structured of a plurality of refrigerating cycles by suitably performing operation capacity control of a compressor according to operation conditions.
The refrigerating air conditioner includes a plurality of the refrigerating cycles 2a, 2b. A load side heating medium is cooled/heated in load side heat exchangers 9a, 9b of the respective refrigerating cycles to supply hot-cold heat. A flow passage of the load side heating medium is composed to serially flow in the load side heat exchangers 9a, 9b of the respective refrigerating cycles. The operation capacities of the compressors 3a, 3b of the respective refrigerating cycles 2a, 2b are controlled so that temperature difference between inflow temperature and outflow temperature of the load side heating medium of the respective refrigerating cycles 2a, 2b can be a predetermined value. The operation capacities of the compressors 3a, 3b of the respective refrigerating cycles 2a, 2b are controlled so that the operation capacities could be proportional to the capacities of the load side heat exchangers 9a, 9b mounted to the respective refrigerating cycles 2a, 2b or rated capacity of the compressors 3a, 3b.
