To improve the efficiency while keeping the balance of a refrigerating cycle regardless of operating conditions in a refrigerating cycle apparatus subjected to constraint that the density ratio is uniform.
This refrigerating cycle apparatus 1 includes a refrigerant circuit 10 in which a compressor 2, a radiator 3, an expander 4, and an evaporator 5 are sequentially connected. A bypass passage 1 is put in the parallel-connecting state between the radiator 3 and the expander 4 of the refrigerating circuit 10. A part of the refrigerating circuit 10 to which the bypass passage 11 is parallel connected is provided with an opening and closing valve 12. An internal heat exchanger 15 for making heat exchange between a refrigerant flowing through a high temperature side passage 13 and a refrigerant flowing through a low temperature side passage 14 is provided on the downstream side of the radiator 3 of the refrigerating cycle apparatus 1. The refrigerating cycle apparatus 1 includes a flow control device 20, wherein the flow control device 20 controls opening and closing of the opening and closing valve 12 based on the detection value of a pressure sensor 31 so that the pressure of a refrigerant delivered from the compressor 2 is within a predetermined range.
