To provide a refrigerating cycle apparatus using a refrigerant having a molecular structure of a carbon double bond, and capable of safely executing the work or the like by a more simple constitution or the like.
The refrigerating cycle apparatus includes: a high temperature side circulation circuit 10 forming a refrigerant circulation circuit by executing the pipe connection of a high temperature side compressor 11 for discharging the refrigerant containing carbon dioxide, a high temperature side condenser 12, a high temperature side throttle device 13 and a high temperature side evaporator 14 to each other; a low temperature side circulation circuit 20 forming a refrigerant circulation circuit by executing the pipe connection of a low temperature side compressor 21 for discharging the refrigerant having a carbon double bond, a low temperature side condenser 22, a low temperature side throttle device 23, and a low temperature side evaporator 24 to each other; a first connection pipe 42 and a second connection pipe 43 forming communication pipes for making the high temperature side circulation circuit 10 communicate with the low temperature side circulation circuit 20; and an operation valve 41 forming an opening and closing means for controlling the passage of the refrigerant containing carbon dioxide through the communication pipes.
