To provide a power-recovery type refrigeration cycle device having a simple structure.
The refrigeration cycle device 100 includes a compressor 2, a heat radiator 3, a positive displacement fluid machine 4, an evaporator 7, and an injection flow path 10f. The positive displacement fluid machine 4 executes the steps of: (i) sucking a refrigerant; (ii) expanding and overexpanding the sucked refrigerant; (iii) supplying the refrigerant through an injection port 30 to a work chamber, and mixing the supplied refrigerant with the excessively expanded refrigerant; (iv) recompressing the mixed refrigerant by using power recovered from the refrigerant in the step (ii); and (v) discharging the recompressed refrigerant from the work chamber. The injection port 30 is provided to a position to be able to prevent occurrence of the excessive overexpansion in the step (ii).
