Abstract:

To efficiently suck liquid refrigerant from a gas-liquid separator 6 and supply gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant to an ejector.

The gas-liquid separator 6 is provided with a gas-liquid outlet pipe 62 which communicates with the entrance of a second refrigerant evaporator. The tip of the pipe drawn into the separator 6 is open at a level upper than the gas-liquid interface to serve as a gas outlet 62a, while the part of the outlet pipe 62 positioned lower than the gas-liquid interface is provided with a plurality of liquid outlets 62b that pass through the side wall of the pipe. Specifically, the gas outlet 62a of the outlet pipe 62 is located more upstream of the refrigerant flow in the pipe 62 than the liquid outlets 62b. Accordingly, the liquid-phase refrigerant can be efficiently introduced into the outlet pipe 62 making use of the gas-phase refrigerant flow of high velocity that has been sucked from the gas outlet 62a.
