To reduce heat loss of an expander due to refrigerating machine oil, in a refrigerating device equipped with a coolant circuit connected with the expander for generating power by expanding coolant.
An air conditioner (10) is equipped with the coolant circuit (11) connected with a compressor (21) and the expander (31), and a compressor casing (24) for storing the compressor (21). A high-pressure oil pool (27) storing the refrigerating machine oil on which pressure of high-pressure gas coolant discharged from the compressor (21) acts is formed inside the compressor casing (24). The coolant circuit (11) is provided with an oil supply passage (44) with its inlet opened at the high-pressure oil pool (27) and its outlet opened in the expander (31). The oil supply passage (44) is provided with an electromagnetic valve (18) for adjusting flow rate of the refrigerating machine oil supplied to the expander (31).
