To improve the operation efficiency of a refrigerating device by enlarging power generated in an expander while properly controlling the capacity of each use-side unit in the operating refrigerating device in which refrigerants passing through use-side units are made to flow in the expander of a heat source side unit.
In an air conditioner (10) being the refrigerating device, a plurality of indoor units (12a, 12b, 12c) being the use-side units are connected to an outdoor unit (11). In a heating operation of the air conditioner (10), the refrigerants discharged from a compressor (30) of the outdoor unit (11) are distributed into the plurality of indoor units (12a, 12b, 12c). In the heating operation, the refrigerants passing through the indoor units (12a, 12b, 12c) are made to flow into the expander (35) of the outdoor unit (11) for expansion. A controller (13) of the air conditioner (10) adjusts a rotation speed of the expander (35) so that a pressure difference between the exit of the compressor (30) and the entrance of the expander (35) becomes a target pressure difference.
