Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a freezer capable of performing stable defrosting operation without being affected by the temperature of a condenser external heat source which is a heat radiation destination of the condenser.SOLUTION: A freezer 1 comprises: an injection channel 18 for guiding coolant from a condenser 12 to an intermediate pressure part of a compressor 11 by bypassing a main expansion valve 15 and a chiller 16; and first and second hot gas channels 261 and 271 for guiding a part of the coolant at an outlet of the compressor 11 to the chiller 16 by bypassing the condenser 12 and the main expansion valve 15 in a defrosting operation mode. Along a coolant channel between the compressor 11 and the condenser 12, a pressure control valve 24 is provided for regulating the coolant discharge pressure of the compressor 11 in the defrosting operation mode. The first and second hot gas channels 261 and 271 are provided with first and second defrosting mode selector valves 262 and 272 which are suction pressure control units for regulating the coolant suction pressure of the compressor 11 in the defrosting operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
