Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device which facilitates time shortening of a defrost operation.SOLUTION: A water heater system 100 includes: a compressor 11; a four-way switching valve 12; a first heat exchanger 13 for exchanging heat between a refrigerant and water; a second heat-exchanger 18; a second expansion valve 16 arranged on a liquid refrigerant flow passage LP; a third expansion valve 17 arranged on a bypass flow passage BP; and a control unit 50. When the control unit 50 determines that there is frost formation in the second heat exchanger 18 in a heating operation mode, it transits to a defrost operation mode, executes defrost preparation control, and executes defrost control after the completion of the defrost preparation control. The control unit 50, by the defrost control, controls the four-way switching valve 12 so that the first heat exchanger 13 functions as an evaporator of the refrigerant and the second heat exchanger 18 functions as a heat radiator of the refrigerant. The control unit 50, by the defrost preparation control, throttles the opening of the second expansion valve 16, and controls the opening of the third expansion valve 17 to a minimum opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
