PURPOSE: To obtain refrigerating equipment which can cope with a load change easily and can conduct a stable operation.

CONSTITUTION: In refrigerating equipment wherein a compressor 1, a condenser 2, a pressure reducing device 3 and an evaporator 4 are connected and a refrigerator is circulated therethrough, a cold storage part 8 is disposed for the evaporator 4 and the cold heat of the evaporator is stored during the operation of the compressor 1, while the stored cold heat is utilized in a state wherein the operation of the compressor 1 is stopped. Since an operating time of the compressor is reduced thereby, energy-saving can be attained, and since direct cooling by the evaporator can be conducted at the time of the operation of the compressor, in addition, quick cooling and an excellent rise can be attained. Moreover, it is possible to decrease the number of times of ON/OFF of the compressor and to bring about a stable operation and energy-saving.
