Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform the normal operation even when refrigerant used for a refrigerating machine is altered by previously providing a controlling method conformed to new refrigerant of alternative candidate of the refrigerant in a controller and altering the method by switching means when the refrigerant is replaced with the new refrigerant for use.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor 1 is so controlled at its operating frequency as to become the control target suction pressure calculated by an outdoor controller 22 by the value detected by a suction pressure sensor 16. For example, if the indoor becomes a low temperature and the evaporating capacity of an indoor heat exchanger 8 is lowered, the suction pressure is reduced. When the suction pressure is lowered from the target value, the control for reducing the compressor operating frequency is conducted, the circulating amount is decreased, the suction pressure is hence increased, thereby stabilizing the target suction pressure. In this case, if refrigerant of operating fluid is altered, the compressor 1 drives the control content of the controller 22 by a control switching unit 23 under the control by considering the difference of the saturated pressure of the refrigerant after the alteration according to the difference of the saturated pressure.
