To provide a refrigerating apparatus intended for solving such problems that a conventional refrigerating apparatus comprises measuring a temperature of food using an infrared radiation sensor, so it is difficult to measure an accurate temperature of food which is covered with a plastic wrap, and sustain a supercooling condition which requires delicate temperature control.
This refrigerating apparatus has a freezing chamber 200 which introduces cold air and refrigerates a food 81, a temperature measuring means 50 which measures a temperature of the food 81 stored in the freezing chamber 200, and a control means 46 which adjusts cold air to be introduced into the freezing chamber 200 so as to sustain the food 81 stored in the freezing chamber 200 in a supercooling condition preventing freezing even at a freezing point or below, based on a measured result of the temperature measuring means 50. The temperature measuring means 50 is set descendably into the food in the freezing chamber 200.
