To provide a refrigerating unit which eliminates the need for valve operation on the site for refrigerant injection, and enables cost reduction.
A refrigerating unit R includes at least a compressor 1, an accumulator 2, and a receiver 8, and is connected to refrigerant piping at an installation place to form a refrigerating cycle. A refrigerant filled chamber 15 filled with a refrigerant by an amount needed for the refrigerating cycle is provided in at least one of the accumulator 2 and receiver 8. A flow passage which connects the inside of the refrigerant filled chamber 15 to a space which is in at least one of the accumulator 2 and receiver 8 and other than the refrigerant filled chamber 15 is closed with a rupture disk 17 which can be ruptured by a rise in pressure of the refrigerant in the refrigerant filled chamber 15.
