PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration, cooling or heating device exhibiting a desired function with a simple structure, and an energy saving method thereof.SOLUTION: In stead of a conventional refrigeration, cooling or heating device, this refrigeration, cooling or heating device includes: refrigerant; a refrigeration cycle mechanism that attains refrigeration cycle by circulating the refrigerant; and an irradiation mechanism that irradiates the refrigerant circulating through the refrigeration cycle with terahertz light.
