To improve a seasonal coefficient of performance of a refrigeration cycle device by more properly distributing a refrigerant to a heat source-side heat exchanger even in a partial load operation in which a required capacity is variable, in a case when a wind speed distribution of the heat source-side heat exchanger is nonuniform in the vertical direction.
A refrigeration cycle device includes a compressor, a blower fan for a heat source-side heat exchanger, the heat source-side heat exchanger composed of a plurality of heat source-side heat exchangers exchanging heat with air, and divided in the height direction to configure groups of heat exchangers from a position near the blower fan, an expansion valve, a use-side heat exchanger exchanging heat with a use-side heat transfer medium, a refrigerant pipe for successively connecting the compressor, the heat source-side heat exchanger, the expansion valve and the use-side heat exchanger to circulate a refrigerant, and a control device for controlling an amount of the refrigerant flowing into each of the groups of heat exchangers according to a load factor.
